New Beginnings (are hard)

How to embrace new beginnings, when you’re still mourning the end.

Embrace life’s transitions to discover unexpected joys.

Beginnings are beautiful. There’s something so captivating about a fresh start—blank slate, clean page. “The most charming part about it is your ignorance of how it will end. The way your life begins after saying goodbye to something or someone that was.”

Having the courage to keep beginning again is what gets you to your destination

When we cling to the past, it’s hard to appreciate the beauty unfolding right in front of us. Someone once said, “When you realize that you’re in the prologue of a new chapter, you face two choices: embrace the change or resist it.”

There’s no expiration date to new beginnings

The amazing thing about new beginnings is that they don’t expire. If we’re lucky, we’ll live well into our 80s or 90s. When you think about it, starting over in your twenties or thirties gives you more time to create, explore, and grow than the years you’ve already lived. It’s never too late to begin again.

Growth never happens when you’re in your comfort zone.

Comfort rarely leads to transformation. Stepping into the unknown, even if it feels uncomfortable, is where real growth begins.

You’re not an imposter syndrome—you’re just a beginner.

The feeling of not belonging or not being enough often stems from starting something new. Remember, everyone is a beginner at some point. Embrace the learning process.

Keep moving forward, one door at a time.

“Open every door you can. If some close, let them. Walk confidently through the ones that remain open.” – Jay Shetty.

Trust the Process— Psalm 23: You’re Going to Make it: Trust Me.

Endings can be painful, but they’re often necessary for transformation. I hope you find the courage to recognize when it's time to move on and to see endings as the stepping stones they truly are. Let love, opportunity, and growth flow through you like rain. Hold things loosely and keep moving forward.
